Local television morning shows are always looking for guests and experts to bring stories and information that interest their viewers.
Now we have hundreds of cable and public stations added to the mix of regular broadcast stations. Once again this fragmentation has caused stations to tighten their belts so they are also eager for free content.
My favorite is local morning shows. Imagine having to produce two hours of local live programming five or six days a week! These poor producers love new people and new ideas so they will be eager to listen to you or watch your video. Research your local morning programming to figure out what the format of each show is. Coaches are perfect guests for local radio shows and you can be the best known coach in your market by promoting yourself on you favorite morning program. Most coaches would never dream of approaching a station and asking to be a guest on a morning show but there is a good chance you could be successful if your niche fits the show.
Radio has seen many changes over the last couple of decades as well. Most broadcast companies own several stations with several different formats in any given market these days.
